Dynamax Electabuzz has officially arrived in Pokémon GO as part of today’s Max Monday event! In this video, I’m taking on the brand-new Dynamax Electabuzz Max Battle, checking out the best counters, hundo CP values, and seeing whether we can get lucky with a perfect IV or shiny Electabuzz.

Electabuzz appears in Max Battles from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time and is an Electric-type Pokémon. That means it only has a single weakness: Ground-type attacks. This makes Dynamax Excadrill one of the strongest counters available, with Dynamax Flygon also performing extremely well thanks to its Ground-type moves and resistance to Electabuzz’s attacks.

If you’re hunting the perfect Electabuzz, the 100% IV hundo CP is 1333, while the weather boosted hundo CP is 1667 during Rainy weather conditions. Whether you’re grinding for a hundo, a shiny, XL Candy, or simply adding another Dynamax Pokémon to your collection, this Max Monday event is one worth checking out.
