10 MORE Guaranteed Lucky Trades in 2026! Here’s How…

Pokémon GO is making one of its biggest trading updates ever as we head into 2026 — 10 more guaranteed Lucky Trades are officially coming to the game, and this time it includes Pokémon caught in 2020 that are now eligible for guaranteed Lucky status. This change dramatically impacts collectors, raiders, PvP players, and anyone preparing for endgame progression. Even better, this update launches alongside the New Year’s Celebration event, stacking massive bonuses and exclusive costume shinies.

Let’s start with the Guaranteed Lucky Trade update. Previously, only Pokémon from earlier years were eligible for guaranteed Lucky Trades. With this expansion, 2020 Pokémon are now included, giving players access to a much larger pool of powerful Legendaries, Shinies, and legacy Pokémon that can be turned into Lucky Pokémon with reduced Stardust costs and guaranteed high IV floors. On top of that, Niantic is granting 10 additional guaranteed Lucky Trades, meaning players can strategically plan upgrades for some of their rarest and strongest Pokémon.
