This GLITCH got me this shiny in Pokémon GO!

I just got a shiny Scatterbug and this has to be a bug as it’s shiny version hasn’t been released yet!!
It was during the City Safari Event that I was hatching some 7 km eggs and after opening and pinning a gift I had a Scatterbug encounter, but due to network issues the encounter took forever to load
and I accidentally clicked on a different Pokémon which triggered the Scatterbug to be shiny!! and I know this doesnt make much sense but let’s see what Pokémon I actually clicked on!
Damn, shiny purrloin and the IVs weren’t great either but which one would you catch?
The scatterbug or the Purrloin?
