How did your Zorua Community Day go in Pokémon GO? In this video, I’m sharing my Zorua Community Day results from October 10, 2026, including how many Shiny Zorua I caught, my special background Pokémon encounters, and my best IV catches from the event!

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on my side this Community Day, with rain cutting my Pokémon GO grind short. I only managed to play for around 90 minutes, which is much less time than I would have liked. However, despite having such a short time to play, I still managed to catch 15 Shiny Zorua! Considering I only played for an hour and a half, I’m pretty happy with that shiny haul.

Zorua Community Day was all about catching as many Zorua as possible, hunting for Shiny Zorua, collecting special background Pokémon, and trying to find some high-IV catches. With Zorua appearing more frequently in the wild and boosted shiny odds during the event, Trainers had a great opportunity to add more of this tricky fox Pokémon to their collections.

One of my main goals during Zorua Community Day was to find a Shiny Zorua with a special background. These special background Pokémon are exciting collectibles in Pokémon GO, and I was hoping to get lucky during the event. Unfortunately, although I caught 12 Zorua with special backgrounds, I didn’t manage to encounter a single shiny background Zorua! That was definitely one of the biggest disappointments of my Community Day, especially after catching so many background Pokémon.

When it came to IVs, I did manage to catch three Zorua with 96% IVs, which ended up being my highest-IV Pokémon from the event. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to find a perfect 100% IV hundo Zorua this time around. Even with three 96% IV catches, the hunt for that elusive hundo continues!

Despite the rain, the limited playtime, and missing out on a shiny special background, I still managed to walk away with 15 shiny catches in just 90 minutes. Now I want to hear how your Zorua Community Day went!
